Starlight 2000UV Two UV Curable Inks Printing System

The Starlight 2000UV is a production system operating with a 24”x26” (609 x 660mm) heated vacuum platen capable of accommodating plastic, glass and metal foil substrates. This system is configured to deposit two (2) different UV-curable inks at a resolution of 600×4800 dpi over an addressable area of 20”x26” (508 x 660mm). With a native deposition speed of 90 feet (27.4m)
per minute at 300 DPI, the system can fully process a 24”x26” sheet in approximately 20 seconds (Insertion of Substrate -> Removal of Substrate). The system can operate with an in-line automated inspection process to ensure high yield output.

Starlight 1000AG Silver Conductive Ink Printing System

The Starlight 1000AG is a prototyping and production system for printing conductive traces on flexible or rigid substrates in sizes up to 24”x26” (610 x 660mm). The printhead assembly is mounted on a gantry placed above a heated vacuum platen that moves under the stationary printhead. Printing occurs in swaths that are stitched together as the printhead assembly moves along the gantry. The system is capable of sub-100-micron features and operates nominally at 12 feet (3.65 m) per minute and prints 3 square inches (76
sq. mm) per second. Starlight 1000AG may be configured for thermal or photonic sintering processes depending on application or customer preference. The inkjet head architecture can be configured to provide very high resolution with an in-line automated inspection process to ensure high quality output. Product applications include bus bar printing for touch sensors on plastic substrates, circuits on appliance interfaces and a range of medical device applications.

Starlight 1000XW Wide Format Decorative and Functional Ink Printing System

The Starlight 1000XW is a very large area production system operating with a heated vacuum platen designed for wider sheets of plastic and glass. The system may be configured to deposit from 1 to 5 color or functional UV-curable inks for decorative or industrial purposes. Starlight 1000XW is configured with UV curing bars with a Tact time of under 4 seconds. An in-line automated inspection process ensures high quality output. Product applications include printing on large format glass sheets, printing patterns of wide plastic sheets used for decorative room surrounds.

Starlight 1000SI Digital Masking Printing System

The Starlight 1000SI is a production system operating with heated vacuum platen capable of accommodating plastic, glass and metal foil substrates. This system is configured to deposit Xerox phase change solid ink. The solid ink may be used for masking purposes protecting the underlying surface from post-printing treatments such as etching or overprinting. The solid ink mask can be removed from the substrates by chemical or physical means to uncover the protected region. The system is capable of 60-micron features and operates with a Tact time of 2 seconds. Product applications include printing of masks on functional films, sheets of glass or metal followed by etching steps to render relief patterns on the substrates.

Starlight 3000FHE Three-Ink Flexible and Hybrid Electronics Additive Manufacturing System

The Starlight 3000FHE is an additive manufacturing and digital 2.5D/3D printing system that provides rapid deposition of electronic circuitry followed by in-line attachment of surface-mounted discrete semiconductor components to create flexible hybrid electronic devices.

It is designed for high throughput manufacturing of flexible and hybrid electronic components. Product applications include medical devices, biosensors, appliance interfaces, in-mold electronics and a host of other applications.
